To the Honorable Board:

I respectfully request your approval of an extension of the original Homeland Security Grant Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the City of Boston. This MOA was approved by Your Honorable Board on October 14, 2004. The extension of the MOA will extend our eligibility to apply for these grants until December 31, 2012.

In accordance with M.G.L Chapter 40, Section 8, an agreement between municipalities must be approved by the Board of Aldermen.
