ORDER 10. Order (ID # 12067)

That the Commissioner of Public Works repair the broken sidewalk at 8 Mount Pleasant Street.
RESOLUTION This is part of the larger project on Broadway. In the meantime, the sidewalk will be hot-topped.
ORDER 11. Order (ID # 12068)

That the Commissioner of Public Works dispatch the street sweeper to clean Pearl Street.
RESOLUTION This gas company is working on School Street. There are plates and other structures in the way. Once the construction project is completed, sweepers will resume their work on Pearl Street.

That the Commissioner of Public Works and/or the Director of SPCD (ISD), direct contractors to communicate with abutters if construction goes over schedule
RESOLUTION The contractor has been informed.

That the Commissioner of Public Works contact Mass DOT about excessive trash on the train tracks by Walnut Street.
RESOLUTION This an area where only railroad or MassDOT personnel are allowed. MassDOT will be contacted.

That the Commissioner of Public Works trim the tree at 14 Grant Street to clear all the wires going through it.
RESOLUTION Complete

That the Commissioner of Public Works repair two lights at the entrance to the Edgerly School.
RESOLUTION The DPW will inspect and repair as necessary.
ORDER 25. Order (ID # 12091)

That the Commissioner of Public Works place more metal trash barrels on Highland Avenue, between Cedar and Walnut Streets, and report to the Ward 5 and Ward 3 Aldermen on where they will be placed.
RESOLUTION Barrel installation and repairs are planned. As soon as the barrels are delivered, the installation will be completed. Delivery is expected mid-late July.
ORDER 26. Order (ID # 12092)

That the Commissioner of Public Works empty trash barrels on weekends and holidays on the Community Path, especially around Lexington Park and in Davis Square, and report to this Board on trash collection from public receptacles on weekends and holidays.
RESOLUTION The DPW already picks up trash on weekends and holidays. The Community path pick schedule will be revisited and modified as needed (including holiday pick ups on weekends).

That the Commissioner of Public Works replace the missing trash barrels on Broadway at Liberty and Lowden Avenues.
RESOLUTION Barrels were removed to be restaured to brand-new condition and will be replaced as soon as we receive them back (mid-late July).

That the Commissioner of Public Works trim the tree in front of 172 North Street.
RESOLUTION Complete.
ORDER 62. Order (ID # 12124)

That the Commissioner of Public Works fix the broken pedestrian lights at North Street and Powderhouse Blvd.
RESOLUTION We are aware of this item. The issue is underground crushed conduit that needs to be excavated. Work is scheduled to be completed within the next two weeks.
