To the Honorable City Council:
Attached is a copy of a DISCLOSURE BY SPECIAL MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEE OF FINANCIAL INTEREST IN A MUNICIPAL CONTRACT AS REQUIRED BY G. L. c. 268A, § 20(d) along with a form entitled APPROVAL OF EXEMPTION BY THE CITY COUNCIL, BOARD OF ALDERMEN BOARD OF SELECTMEN, TOWN COUNCIL OR DISTRICT PRUDENTIAL COMMITTEE for your consideration and approval.
Mr. David Gibbs has disclosed an indirect financial interest in a municipal contract made by the Somerville Affordable Housing Trust Find with the Community Action Agency of Somerville to take effect on July 1, 2020. Mr. Gibbs is a Trustee on the Somerville Affordable Housing Fund and is also the Executive Director of the Community Action Agency of Somerville.
I respectfully request that you approve Mr. Gibbs' request for exemption by executing the attached APPROVAL OF EXEMPTION BY THE CITY COUNCIL, BOARD OF ALDERMEN BOARD OF SELECTMEN, TOWN COUNCIL OR DISTRICT PRUDENTIAL COMMITTEE.
