That the Administration present the information described herein about the Brown School's physical plant and planned and completed renovations, to this Board, to the School Committee, and to the Brown School community.

That this Board of Aldermen hereby requests the Administration to provide to it, the following:
• A detailed account of the City's response to the heating issues recently experienced at the Benjamin Brown School that were mentioned in Ms. Gomez's letter, attached, and an assessment of why that response was inadequate to avoid the burst pipes;
• An explanation for why the heating system, which has relatively new boilers, is experiencing failures;
• A full accounting of the history of building repairs and improvements (omitting improvements that have subsequently been replaced, if any) and the details of any prior renovation/replacement plans that were not enacted;
• Details and status of any current plans to seek MSBA and/or CPA funding for any work relating to the Brown School.
This Board also requests that the foregoing information be presented to the Brown School community at a meeting to discuss the history and future of the facility and, further, that the forgoing information that is of a historical nature be compiled in a manner that it can be provided to and readily accessed by the community in the future, and further, that all of the above be likewise provided to the School Committee and the Superintendent of Schools.
