Dear Honorable Board of Aldermen,

The Somerville Historic Preservation Commission received a request from owners Ron and Linde Dynneson to designate the house at 204 Morrison Avenue as a portion of the Morrison Avenue local historic district.

The Commission has reviewed this request and determined that there is merit to the request and that it be considered at a public hearing.  The preservation regulations of the City and the Commonwealth require a joint public hearing for a decision on the addition of a property to a historic district.

The Commission is therefore requesting that your Honorable Board refer this matter to the appropriate committee to hold a joint public hearing with the Commission.
