To the Honorable City Council:

I respectfully request that your Honorable City Council accept a grant of $9,500 from Mass Dept of Health through Cambridge Health Alliance to the Health & Human Services Department, under the provisions of MGL Chapter 44, Section 53A. This grant does not require the commitment of new matching funds. The purpose of this grant is to pay for a contractor to draft an Emergency Preparedness Drill exercise to test Emergency Dispensing Site plans.

My staff will be available to answer any questions you may have. Thank your for your consideration of this item.
