To the Honorable Board:
• B.O.A. Order#192043 That the Director of Traffic and Parking stripe the roadway on North St from Broadway to Medford line.
North St does not meet the criteria established by the Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) for the installation of a Double Yellow Center Line (DYCL). The MUTCD is a federal, state and City standard. Per the MUTCD, a DYCL cannot be installed on this street.
• B.O.A. Order #192049 That the Director of Public Works install a Go Slow Children sign on Illinois Ave, near Pennsylvania Ave.
A work order has been issued to the Sign Maintenance Crew to install a Caution Children sign at #36 Illinois Ave.
• B.O.A. Order # 192063 That the Director of Traffic and Parking re-stripe the crosswalk on Walnut St at Bow St.
Walnut St is scheduled to be resurfaced next Spring by a DPW contractor. When this street is resurfaced the crosswalk at Walnut St/Bow St will be “repainted” by this contractor.
