That the Commissioner of Public Works submit written responses to the Ward 7 Alderman
regarding the following LED maintenance questions:

1.                     If the LED manufacturer is out of business or if the design is not made to be repaired, will the city need to replace the entire fixture?

2.                     As LED lights are not like the existing lights in that they are not standard bulbs, will the city stock some lamps if the first source fails, until there is time to find a second source?

3.                     The Committee on OSEE was told (by Mr. Tanko) that the city only has a 1 year warranty on a product that is sold as a 10 year product.  Is this true?

4.                     If there is a longer commitment, does it include installation?

5.                     Can the city replace the lamp without replacing the entire fixture?
