To the Honorable Board of Aldermen,
I am submitting to you the attached preliminary memo from RKG Associates, the consultant hired by Mass Housing Partnership under an agreement with the city to address the feasibility of changes to the inclusionary housing ordinance. This preliminary memo addresses the financial feasibility of short-term changes to the inclusionary zoning ordinance.
A more substantial report and model, to assist with the zoning overhaul, will be provided by the consultant in March.
OSPCD staff is available to meet on this topic, and looks forward to continued discussions on improving the Inclusionary Zoning Ordinance.
