To the Honorable City Council:

I respectfully request that your Honorable City Council accept a grant of $254,840 from Dept. of Homeland Security to the Fire Department, under the provisions of MGL Chapter 44, Section 53A. This grant requires some level of matching funds from the city. Matching funds were appropriated in the FY2021 budget. The purpose of this grant is to pay for Hazardous Material training.
