Official Text

To the Honorable Board:

B.O.A. #191565 (This order was referred to DPW; T&P will respond.)

That the Commissioner of Public Works re-stripe the intersection of Cutter Avenue and Summer St, indicating a left turn only lane and a straight lane for Summer St.

A condition for development at 377 Summer St is that the developer, prior to Certificate of Occupancy, re-stripe the Summer St/Cutter Ave. intersection.  All pavement markings at this location will be installed to City standards and paid by the developer when the project is complete.

B.O.A. #191673

That the Director of Traffic and Parking report to this Board on the feasibility of a sticker or placard for non-commercial resident vehicles that a resident owner could obtain for legal street parking when they plan to be away from the city for more than 48 hours.

T&P is meeting with the Ward 6 Alderman to discuss the Board Order.

B.O.A #191054

That the Director of Traffic and Parking and the commissioner of Public Works place proper signage on the appropriate poles at the bus stop on Webster Ave adjacent to St. Joseph’s Church and the Charter School, and recommend to the Ward 2 Alderman other signage there to comply with city regulations and provide for public safety.

Traffic and Parking reviewed the west side of Webster Ave.  Two additional “No Parking Any Time” signs will be installed on this side of Webster Ave.  In addition, the MBTA will be contacted to install additional Bus Stop signs at the Bus Stops on Webster Ave between Washington St and Newton St.
