To the Honorable Board:

I respectfully request acceptance and authority to expend a 2014 Continuum of Care Planning Grant in the amount of $25,964 awarded to the City by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. The attached communication provides detail on the grant. The City's match for the grant has already been appropriated in the FY2016 OSPCD Housing Division Salaries Account.

In accordance with M.G.L. Chapter 44, Section 53A, which requires a vote of the Board of Aldermen for the expenditure of grants or gifts from the federal government and from a charitable foundation, private corporation, or an individual, or from the Commonwealth, a county or municipality or agency thereof, I request approval to expend this grant.
