Be it hereby known to all that the

Somerville Board of Aldermen and Mayor

offer their sincerest commendations to

Martha Costa

On the auspicious occasion of her retirement after 31 years in the Police Department, including the last 4 years as Sergeant, representing the 2nd female in the history of the Department to serve in a supervisory position. She served the City of Somerville with courage and distinction at all times.

The Aldermen and the Mayor offer their

best wishes for a happy and healthy retirement.
