To the Honorable City Council:
The Mayor respectfully requests that this Council authorize an increase in the Somertime Revolving Account Expenditure Limit to $185,000 for FY2026, under the provisions of MGL Chapter 44, Section 53 1/2. The current authorized limit is $175,000. The increase requested is $10,000.
The request is due to increases of cost for supplies, instructors and field trips for the Somertime program.
Appropriate staff will be available to answer any questions you may have. Thank you for your consideration of this matter.
