To the Honorable City Council:

I hereby request permission to appear in executive session per G. L. c. 30A, Section 21(a)(3), along with outside legal counsel from Brody, Hardoon, Perkins & Kesten, LLP, to discuss John Doe v. City of Somerville & Josh Wairi, U.S. District Court No. 1:22-cv-10091-RGS.  Discussion in the open session of the council meeting may have a detrimental effect on the City of Somerville's negotiating position and litigation strategy.
