To the Honorable Council:

I respectfully request acceptance and authority to expend a 2018 Continuum of Care Planning Grant in the amount of $63,883 awarded to the City by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. The attached communication provides detail on the grant. The City's match for the grant is through Housing Division employee Heidi Burbidge’s time on the project in the amount of $15,971, the equivalent of 543 hours.

In accordance with M.G.L. Chapter 44, Section 53A, which requires a vote of the Council for the expenditure of grants or gifts from the federal government and from a charitable foundation, private corporation, or an individual, or from the Commonwealth, a county or municipality or agency thereof, I request approval to expend this grant.
