To the Honorable Board:
I hereby request, subject to the approval of your Honorable Board, departmental transfers in the amounts so specified from the attached spreadsheet to the Fire Department, Salaries Account (0122051-511000) for the purpose of funding the Memorandum of Agreement between IAFF, Local 76 and the City of Somerville signed on January 19, 2012.
As a result of the departmental transfers, the following positions will remain vacant for all or a portion of the rest of the fiscal year.
