To the Honorable City Council:
The Mayor respectfully requests that this Council accept and approve expending a grant of $125,000 from the Department of Energy Resources Green Communities Division to the Office of Sustainability and Environment, under the provisions of MGL Chapter 44, Section 53A. This grant requires some level of matching funds from the city.
The purpose of this grant is to pay for the lighting retrofit project at Dilboy Field. The additional $174,460 in funds required to complete the project were previously approved by the City Council on February 26, 2026.
