To the Honorable City Council:
The Mayor respectfully requests that this Council appropriate $6,750 from the Medicinal Marijuana Stabilization Fund for FY26 only for an Additional Duties stipend for the Out of School Time Coordinator for assuming additional duties previously completed by the Somerville Public Schools Coordinator, a role which no longer exists. These duties include but are not limited to working in partnership with school principals and district Department Directors to identify additional academic and/or enrichment programming beyond the school day.
Appropriate staff will be available to answer any questions you may have. Thank you for your consideration of this matter.
