To the Honorable City Council:

 

The City Clerk respectfully requests that this Council approve the elimination of the Assistant City Clerk-Vital Records & Licensing position.

 

With the reductions in the Fiscal Year 2027 budget necessitating elimination of at least $91,800 in Salaries in the Office of the City Clerk, the Assistant City Clerk-Vital Records & Licensing position was identified as the position where elimination would have the least detrimental effect on the office. The Assistant City Clerk-Vital Records & Licensing position represents a reduction of $93,600 for Fiscal Year 2027.
