To the Honorable City Council:

The Mayor respectfully requests that this Council approve the supplemental appropriation of $1,053,387 to the Capital-Building Lease Account for the purpose of funding a Lease Agreement between the City of Somerville and the Trustees of Tufts College regarding the use of space at the Tufts Administration Building on Holland Street. The lease agreement begins on September 1, 2023 and expires on February 28, 2025.

The supplemental appropriation will be added to the FY24 Tax Levy.
