To the Honorable Board:

I would respectfully like to declare the City's "Cisco 3500" switches as surplus. The City has replaced these switches with newer more efficient ones over the course of the past 5 fiscal years. It is no longer needed by the IT Department for use in City or School Buildings. These switches are over 10 years old and are not supported by the manufacturer anymore.
