Be it hereby known to all that

the Somerville City Council

offers its sincerest commendations to

Ellen Shachter

Who has served for the last 10 months as Somerville’s first

Director of Housing Stability. With dedication and vision,

she has created a model for all local governments to address

the affordable housing crisis, our biggest challenge.

The Councilors offer their steadfast support

as she tenaciously pursues this worthy endeavor.
