To the Honorable Board:

I respectfully request that your Honorable Board accept a grant of $3,196 from the Department of Fire Services to the Fire Department, under the provisions of MGL Chapter 44, Section 53A. This grant does not require the commitment of new matching funds. These funds will be used for the Senior Citizens Fire Education Program (S.A.F.E.) to provide fire education to Somerville's Senior Residents.
