To the Honorable Board:

I respectfully request that your Honorable Board vote to authorize the creation of the Tufts University Consolidated Gift Account, under the provisions of Massachusetts General Law Chapter 44, Section 53A.

Under the provisions of the Tufts University - City of Somerville Partnership Agreement 2014-2018, Tufts University will donate $75,000 annually to the City to be used for educational, cultural, or recreational purposes. The consolidated gift account will be used to accept donations for this purpose.
